This logo was created for a factitious restaurant for a project in Typography at Ivy Tech Community College. The parameters for this project were that we were to chose an artist off a list and use them as inspiration for our type of restaurant. The artist I chose was Marc Chagall, and was inspired by his painting "Spoonful of Milk". My restaurant is a casual and warm Russian/French/Jewish (Chagall's ethnicity) soup and comfort foods restaurant.

I created the logo originally in black and white, and then later created a two color version.
